Imam Syafi'i is well known as a jurist, but he also has works in the field of literature. His literary form poetry are composed using rules arudh and qawafi. In Arabic poetry, rhythm musicality poem determined by consistency Arudh Qawafi, therefore purpose this study to find analyze shortcomings advantages Shafi'i imam with descriptive qualitative method. The results found two rhythms that exist poem, namely types bahr Kamil Rojaz. qafiyah takes part word from final fragment verse poem. This several advantages, namely, first stanza end same wazan taf'ilah qawafi reads letter ق word, second stanza, when viewed type Rojaz then free zihaf. While drawback there zihaf al-idhmar enters it, qawafinya where fourth fifth stanzas al-idhmar, third sound different other stanzas, fathah tone. research shows although better Shafi'I have high musical value.
